Blueberry Banana Flax Smoothie

This delicious smoothie makes a great healthy breakfast or in between meal snack and it’s packed with healthful ingredients. Flax seeds are full of omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and fiber, and may help fight heart disease and cancer. Blueberries add more fiber, and a healthy dose of vitamin C. Bananas add potassium, which helps to lower blood pressure, and yogurt adds calcium which, among other benefits, helps fight osteoporosis. So drink to your health!


1 cup fat-free plain Greek yogurt

1 cup ice

1 ripe banana

1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

2 Tbsp honey

2 Tbsp ground flax seeds


  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
