Back in the day (the cowboy days), your options were pretty limited when it came to choosing pots and pans. And by limited I mean you had only one choice – cast iron. But considering you pretty much had only one way to cook – the potbelly wood-fired stove, it was fine. But now, with multiple cooking options there are multiple cookware options, and that’s why I’m here. So consider this a little ‘pot & pan 101’.
