Raise your hand if you like spending a lot on dinner…I thought not. With that thinking in mind, here is a tasty, hearty and inexpensive dinner everyone in your family will love.
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 pound ground pork
1 green pepper, diced
1 Tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons Kosher salt
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 – 16 ounce jar black bean salsa
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup Bisquick
1/3 cup milk
1/2 Tablespoon chili powder
- Preheat oven to 400.
- In a pot over medium heat, put in oil and pork - cook until no longer pink. Add green pepper, chili powder, salt and garlic. Stir well and cook a couple minutes more. Mix in salsa well and pour into an ovenproof dish and top with cheese.
- Beat egg and mix with Bisquick, milk and chili powder. Pour over chili and bake about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
