I think one of the biggest problems with trying to stick to a healthy eating resolution is the lack of excitement. With salad morning, noon, and night, you can get bored very quickly, and then just give up. But it doesn’t have to be like that. So here are some suggestions that still allow for big taste, but small calories. Happy eating!
1-12 ounce jar roasted red peppers, drained
1 large clove garlic
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Kosher salt & fresh ground pepper to taste
- Put everything in a blender. Blend really well until desired thickness and chunkiness is achieved.
- Pretty easy - huh?
- Heat before using.
