Don’t Need It, But Want It: Candle Accessories

In my quest to spruce up my decor without making any major changes (hello, tight budget), I’ve recently ventured down the rabbit hole of candle accessories. It’s a proven fact that everyone looks better in candlelight and every candle looks better in a cute candle holder. Let’s peruse a few of my personal favorites.

Five Light Tea Light Holder With Shells

Rather than  taking up precious shelf space, I plan on sticking this glass beauty on the back of my commode or even in the windowsill.

Vintage Mason Jar Candle Holders

Line up six or seven of these babies as a table centerpiece, or use them to light the outer perimeter of your back porch. Their no-frills design lets the flame be the star.

Mosaic Waved Wall Sconces

Even though everyone who enters my house has to walk down my front hallway, it’s a total design afterthought (translation: aside from a vintage coat rack, it’s devoid of anything cool). These wall sconces are a super easy way to add a little bit of personality to this area of your house without taking up any space.  Sold!

Nambe Globe Candlesticks

A few months ago, a friend of mine gave me a set of really lovely candlesticks. Said gift has been collecting dust in a drawer because, honestly, I find most candlestick holders stuffy and too formal for my taste. Not these babies. This two-piece set is a super sexy addition to a table setting, or the perfect final touch for your mantle.

Alessi Blow Up Tea Light Holder

When it comes to candles, tea lights tend to be thought of as the less exciting little sister to scented pillars. But stick a tea light inside of this avant garde piece, and suddenly it becomes a work of art.  This is the type of candle holder that deserves a special spot. I have dreams of placing one in the center of my coffee table, or using a pair to deck out the nightstands on either side of my bed. (Bonus: It’s on clearance!)
