Getting Ready for Easter

Easter is quickly approaching and if you haven’t begun planning for the family meal yet, this round up of recipes and ideas will help get you started. If you are serving Easter brunch, check out our Easter “Mix ‘n Match Sweet & Savory” brunch menu or Sam the Cooking Guy’s slightly less traditional, but incredibly scrumptious, lamb and egg pizza brunch recipe. With so much variety to choose from, you are sure to delight your family during the holiday meal.  For dinner, if tradition runs deep in your family, Sam the Cooking Guy’s traditional Easter menu of Roast Pork Loin and Potatoes Anna or a delicious Roast Leg of Lamb are easy to make and are great crowd-pleasers.

Now that you have settled on what you are going to serve, think about your Easter table setting. If your style tends towards formal, creating an elegant and sophisticated table look is easy to achieve.  Or perhaps your lifestyle is more casual, and with the advent of warmer weather, you might want to bring in the pastels of the spring season to your table setting. Either style is sure to make for the perfect Easter table.

And if at the end of the day, you find yourself with lots of leftover hard boiled eggs, don’t worry, just turn them into a curried egg sandwich, a bacon and onion deviled eggs, or spicy scotch eggs for a snack.
