Easy Jambalaya Recipe

I’d be miserable without my rice cooker. Of course I could make rice without it, but I wouldn’t want to. There’s no worrying about burning, drying out or ruining the rice when you use a rice cooker. And then, when you realize you can make something as awesome as this easy Jambalaya recipe with virtually no cooking skills – you’d be crazy not to own one.

  • Cook Time: 45 minutes

  • 7 ounces diced green chilies

    1. Hey Cindy – it is delish and easy. but with no rice cooker, just put the rice and broth in a pot, bring to a boil, turn down to a simmer, add everything else, stir well and cover. cook until all is done – maybe 20 minutes. the chick and sausage are already cooked, so you’re really just waiting for the shrimp. of course the beauty of the rice cooker is that it turns itself to warm when it’s done – so you’ll have to watch your version. but it should be great.
