Regional Foods: Atlantic Coast Crab Rolls Recipe

Born from the much beloved lobster roll, this version is not just less expensive to make, but can come together really quickly because keeping crab in the fridge is a snap.  And not only will these make a great lunch or dinner, but just the filling inside an avocado is a genius little salad.

  1. We had a tub of baja crab that we were wondering what to do with, and then this blog popped up! We tried this one since Sam’s recipes have never let us down… we’re still using some of his recipes from ~10 years ago! Didn’t have green onions so we used chives instead. Also used Kings Hawaiian sub rolls instead of the hot dog bun. I think the hot dog bun would lend a more neutral flavor, the Hawaiian bread had a sweetness to them that some might not like. But ultimately, this was a great recipe that we enjoyed.
