Our friends at Wilton have whipped up the cutest cookies, perfect for your holiday party, as gifts for family and friends, or just because! Kids will love helping you use the cookie press to create fun shapes–turn it into a new family tradition.

  • Yield: About 10 dozen cookies

  • 1/2 cup shelled pistachios
  • 3-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1-1/2 cups (3 sticks) butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Wilton Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Wilton Imitation Almond Extract
  • Wilton Leaf Green Icing Color

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In the bowl of a food processor, process pistachios until finely ground. Remove any pieces too large to fit through the openings of the cookie press discs.
  3. In medium bowl, combine ground pistachios, flour and baking powder. In large bowl, beat butter and sugar with electric mixer on medium-high speed until light and fluffy. Add egg, milk, extracts and icing color; mix well. Gradually add flour to butter mixture, mixing to make a smooth dough. Do not chill.
  4. Place dough into cookie press and press cookies onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned around edges. Remove cookies from cookie sheet; cool on cooling grid.
  5. Makes about 10 dozen cookies.
