Smoked Salmon & Goat Cheese Breakfast Pizza

Pizza for brunch?

Of course, but I’m not talking about a couple of cold slices of leftover pepperoni & sausage pizza. This is goat cheese, lox, red onion and dill and it goes perfectly with any other brunch things you’re serving. Your own dough, a store-bought crust or even a flatbread would be awesome. Whatever you use, just make it. 


  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: Serves 6-8



  • 1 - 10 ounce pre-baked pizza crust
  • 1/4 cup fresh chopped fresh dill
  • 5 ounces soft goat cheese
  • 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces smoked salmon, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 3 tablespoons capers, optional (but they shouldn’t be)


  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Spread goat cheese over the crust, sprinkle with 1/2 the dill then top with sliced onions.
  3. Bake until cheese melts and crust starts getting crispy, 10-12 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven, top with salmon, remaining dill and capers, if using.
