White Sauce Recipe
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 5 minutes
- Yield: Makes approximately one cup
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2 Tablespoons flour
- 1 1/4 cups milk, heated
- Freshly ground pepper
- Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add flour and cook, stirring constantly, about 2 minutes until it becomes a very thick paste.
- Slowly add milk, a little at a time continuing to stir as the sauce thickens. Add salt & pepper, lower the heat and cook stirring for another couple minutes.
